Our fuel, your way.
MAN is introducing a new 'efficiency' package for long-haul trucks, which it claims will save operators 2.6-litres of fuel over 100km.
The 3500euro package, currently termed Consistently Efficient by the German truck maker says it will offer savings for large fleet operators.
It includes a number of changes to standard equipment including: an air compressor that is only activated for 10% of the time, a more powerful alternator, improved aerodynamics, lighter wheels, aluminium air reservoir, no spare wheel, lower rolling resistance tyres and aerodynamic chassis panelling.
